Maria is attending University of Alberta and is taking Bachelor of Science Kinesiology. Maria received funding from the Swan City Rotary Club Community Service Above Self Fund.
“Thank you so much for choosing me for this scholarship. The funds from this will be put toward
completing my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and will be a great help to paying for my schooling. I really want to use my schooling and education to help young athletes in the Peace Country receive the training and rehab resources they need to be able to compete at the highest level possible. I appreciate the opportunity to apply and receive this funding and that the Peace Country has programs like this to aid students in completing their schooling.”
