Joshua is the recipient of the Beaverlodge Community Band Fund and Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce Legacy Fund. He will be attending the University of Alberta and is enrolled in Bachelor of Science – Geology Specialization program.
This funding has helped me a lot. Not only has it helped pay for tuition and textbooks, but it has helped to
give me peace of mind. The financial burden placed on you by university education is large and scary, so relief
in that aspect is an incredible feeling. Without this support, I most definitely would’ve been forced to take
more loan money and be harder on myself. Furthermore, this funding had allowed me to experience more
during my studies. A hockey game or two will definitely help relieve some of the stress placed on me.
