Jillian is attending MacEwan University and is working towards becoming a Hearing Aid Practitioner. Jillian received funding from the Smart and Caring Student Award Fund.

has not only aided me financially but mentally, as I feel I also have the support of my community. I truly
appreciate being awarded the Smart and Caring Student Award Fund. I respect this community and what it has to offer students. Grande Prairie is sometimes mislabeled as a transient oil town. This city has a beautiful history of entrepreneurs, is filled with many kind citizens that are involved in this community, and who have deep roots here.
