“On July 7, 2018 I married my husband Dean Lloyd. We decided to do an honour bar at our wedding reception in honour of Hannah. She would have so loved being there to celebrate with us. I had dreamt about having her as a bridesmaid to share in the day with me. We felt providing this donation was a way to keep her name and spirit alive on our wedding day. We both loved Hannah very much and miss her everyday. Hannah and I always had a special bond and the feeling is still void in my life. The money that we raised, we would like to donate in her name as a symbol of our love for her. We hope that this donation in some way, helps someone who is struggling.”
Thank you Jordana and Dean for helping keep Hannah’s memory alive and contributing to the legacy fund set up to help the youth in our community.
In memory of Hannah and with care and concern for our youth, Andre, Tammy, Keifer, and Madeline Ouellette worked with the Community Foundation to create a legacy fund in Hannah’s name. The Hannah Ouellette Memorial Supporting Suicide Prevention Resource Centre Fund is dedicated to The Breakfast Club, a local program to help teens and 9-12 year olds who are dealing with problems such as conflict with family or friends, school issues, stress, self-esteem issues or emotional struggles.
