Thanks to the funding I received through the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta, almost half of my tuition for the winter semester was paid off. This allowed me to not have to take on extra shifts at work to keep up with the cost of schooling, allowing me the time and peace of mind to focus on my studies instead of on figuring out how to pay for school this semester. Erica is the recipient of student awards from the Swan City Breakfast Lions Club Fund and Woronuk Legacy Fund. She is currently in the Bachelor of Science program at GPRC.
