Aquatera is a proud supporter of the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta. We support innovative projects and programs in communities throughout our service areas, improving access to essential services and provide opportunities to strengthen and grow each community. Aquatera operates to serve our communities while being socially and environmentally responsible and create new opportunities that are in the best interest of our customers and environment. We are agents of change, continuously looking at opportunities for growth, improvement and ways to better those around us. The partnership with the Community Foundation is one of the ways that we can accomplish this goal.
Aquatera has been a Vital Impact Leader since 2009, as well as a fund holder since 2007 of the Aquatera Environment Support Fund. This fund supports environmental and community sustainability focusing on stewardship of water or waste reduction. The goal of partnerships like this one is to build sustainability in our community and promote initiatives that provide benefit even after the sponsorship has been given.
We continue to value how the Community Foundation aligns with our values and core purpose of Growing Healthy Communities and how they help connect and support organizations by allocating funding to projects and programs that are impactful and significant across the communities we serve. They inspire positive change by bringing people together to improve the lives of others not only today but forever.
